About Rosalyn

Formerly of Southern New England,  I now live in the breathtakingly beautiful hills of the Pennsylvania Wilds where we raise most of our food on our homestead, sourcing the remainder from local growers and farms. 

I can, freeze, and store the majority of the food we consume, and deliberately shop at local small Amish-owned groceries stores for the remainder of our needs. I believe strongly in supporting my local economy, and make choices regularly to keep our dollars local. 

I am blessed to experience the joy of raising and free-range homeschooling my son, with the support and love of my loyal, hardworking, loving husband. My passions include writing, plant-based recipe development, horseback riding, walking, reading, and Masterpiece Theatre.  My time is carefully balanced and includes volunteering at our local church and their various ministries as well as overseeing a 400+ member-family regional homeschooling organization, LCCHEA.

My life purpose as I understand it is to affect positive change, helping myself and others live fully and well, with love and truthfulness.
